Hiking

One of the most beautiful outdoor activities in Merano is hiking. Both the Tappeinerweg and Sissi-Weg walking trails can be reached in just a few minutes from Residence Diana. Leisurely hikes around Merano 2000 or along the local irrigation channels, the so-called „Waalwege“, as well as the numerous mountain trails in the Texelgruppe or Hirzergebiet are just a few of the highlights that await you here in Merano.

Golf

Golf Club Lana has a well-kept 9-hole course in the nearby village of Lana, which is a ten minute drive away.

In addition, Golf Club Passeier in the nearby Passeier valley is a short drive away. Here you can find an 18-hole course surrounded by breathtaking views of the nearby mountains.  

 


 

Biking

Biking has enjoyed a surge in popularity in recent years. There is a network of well-signposted trails including the cycle path from Merano to St. Leonhard in the Passeiertal valley, which is easily accessible from our apartments.  The Etsch cycle path from Merano to Bolzano as well as the cycle path through the Vinschgau valley to Mals are also close by.
